How refreshing to hear that Chick-fil-A will open up their first store in Queens at the Queens Center Mall on September 1.
Chick-fil-A has long-term plans to open up to 200 stores in the five boroughs. Chick-fil-A will provide gainful employment in construction trades, and once open gainful employment to cooks and cashiers.
Now watch elected officials attempt to score political points with their liberal friends by opposing Chick-fil-A.
How disappointing to see this collection of "politically correct" liberals throwing their lot in with political extremists on the right, who use the threat of boycotts to impose their moral values on others.
All should worry about more important issues, such as education, transportation, public safety and unemployment.
If you don't like the politics of Chick-fil-A, don't eat there, but don't deny the civil liberties of others. This is called freedom of choice.
True tolerance means accepting those with different values than your own.
