Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato was named one of the deputy grand marshals at the 42nd Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Rockaway.

“I’ve been coming to the Queens County Parade since I was a kid, and my kids grew up coming,” she said. “The parade is fun, it’s historic, and it’s one of the wonderful, festive occasions that make living in this diverse community such a delight year-round.

This year’s grand marshal is William Lynn, business manager of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 30.

The March 4th festivities begin with a mass at St. Francis de Sales Church, with the parade stepping off at Beach 130th Street and Newport Avenue at 1 p.m.
