When I was a young boy, everything was closed on Thanksgiving so that everyone could celebrate with family and friends. The almighty dollar has changed that completely.
Many businesses are now open on Thanksgiving, showing a total disregard for their employees who can’t spend the holiday with family and friends.
Don’t patronize businesses that are open on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day. There are plenty of other days to go shopping the rest of the year.
Sincerely,
John Amato
