Moving Wall is just that

This past weekend, The Moving Wall – a scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that travels the country – was erected in Juniper Valley Park.

It was often times emotional, as family members and fellow veterans remembered those that never came home from the war. It's a tribute to the power of the memorial that even this smaller version of it can elicit such a moving reaction.

It was also fitting that the wall visited just days before we celebrated our nation's independence, reminding us that there are those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy.

We hope you had a happy – and reflective – Fourth of July.
