Double standard

Dear Editor,

There are two tiers of justice in America, one for the rich and one for the poor.

Paul Manafort was found guilty of tax and bank fraud, and according to sentencing guidelines he should have received 19 to 24 years in jail. That doesn’t even take into account Manafort’s other admitted crimes, like illegal foreign lobbying and money laundering.

He got less than four years in jail. Why so lenient?

Sincerely,

Robert LaRosa
